Palate Ground almonds and barley malt.The VAT 69 is a blended Scotch produced by William Sanderson & Son which is part of Diageo. This whisky is the first that was sold in Port bottles. On the nose this blend has notes of sweet barley malt, cereals, caramel, pears and some spices. The barley malt and the pears reach the palate as well.

Nose Hints of spice and caramel, notes of barley malt, with a soft wheat character. A touch of pear juice. Vat 69 served with a glass of iced water to open its mellow, sweet and rugged flavors.
