Description
Jameson Black Barrel is aged for up to 16 years in double charred barrels, making it a full strength whiskey bursting with aromas of toffee and fudge, complemented by a spicy character and a rich vanilla finish. It has a much higher amount of single pot whiskey blended with small batch grain whiskey.
Jameson Black Barrel is blended from two whiskies: a small-batch grain whiskey distilled at Midleton Distillery once a year and matured in heavily charred ex-bourbon barrels, and a malted and unmalted barley pot still whiskey aged in sherry casks.
